Description

Filter, Neutral Density

For many applications, you’ll need a Neutral Density Filter in addition to an Interference Filter to reduce the Percentage Light Transmittance (PLT) of your Sample Channel during operation. Generally, the accepted target range of your PLT is 5% – 95% on Startup Solution and Reagents; however, some applications may show a percent light of 0%, which is okay, since the dialog window does not show decimal places. The main goal is to prevent a PLT of 100%, as that will cause the software to trigger an ERROR MESSAGE.

Refer to your flow diagram, System Manual and/or Tech Support for Neutral Density Filter recommendations for your application and detector type.
